NextGen Coventry and Warwickshire

Next Generation GP is back in Coventry & Warwickshire!

Next Generation GP is a programme for emerging leaders and future ‘change-makers’ in general practice.

The course is aimed to energise and empower GP trainees and early career GPs (first 5-7 years) with an interest in health policy and the wider NHS.

The programme will consist of 5 evening events from September 2021 to February 2022. We will be circulating our programme schedule in due course. The sessions will involve interactive presentations, discussions and workshops led by local and national inspirational leaders within primary care. We may also run some face to face sessions – details to be shared onceconfirmed.

We have a limited number of fully-funded places to offer on the programme. To ensure maximum benefit from the programme, participants will need to

commit to attending at least 4 out of the 5 sessions. Applications are now OPEN, visit the link to apply:

Next Generation GP Coventry and Warwickshire kicked off in December 2019, welcoming 36 delegates into the programme. It is run by local Next Gen GPs Emma Grennell, Bilal Salman and Maisun Elftise.

We are very grateful to have the 2019-20 programme funded by NHS Coventry and Rugby CCG.

Our aim is to EMPOWER, ENGAGE and ENERGISE you to become the best leaders you can be in your early career. Each evening will start with food and networking from 6.15pm - 7pm and we finish approximately at 9.30pm. An up to date programme can be found in the side menu.

In the meantime you can find out more about what Next Generation GP are up to via our national monthly bulletin and our twitter feed (@NextGGP).
