Welcome to Next Generation GP East Midlands

For 2023 and 2024, the Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire Cohorts have combined to bring you NGGP East Midlands!

This year’s programme includes local and national leaders speaking about their personal leadership journey and the lessons they have learned along the way. There are opportunities to put your questions directly to them as well!

We are delighted to bring you Dr Sonali Kinra – GP, Deputy Medical Director of NHS North Central London ICB for our first event. We have the team from Five Voices delivering workshop to help you identify and start using your leadership voice. We look at the future of primary care and the role of AI with Dr Marcus Baw, GP and IT consultant and Dr Duncan Gooch, Chair Derby and Derbyshire Primary and Community Care Delivery Board. In the new year we will host some inspirational local leaders who will share their leadership journeys and help you to think how you can start where you are now, we will run a team-building event and then finish with an afternoon Mini Conference to introduce you to local leaders and opportunities.
