We’ve so far hosted two successful Next Gen Cohorts, and applications are now open to Kent & Medway GPs and GP trainees for our third cohort starting February 2023.

Next Generation GP is a programme for emerging leaders and future ‘change-makers’ in general practice.

The course is aimed to energise and empower GP trainees and early career GPs (first 5-7 years) with an interest in health policy and the wider NHS.

This is a funded programme that aims to energise, engage and empower the next generation of leaders in primary care, equipping them with the skills and networks to succeed, and empowering them with the belief that they can translate insight into impact.
The programme will run from February to June 2023, and will feature inspiring speakers such as Dr Robert Varnham, Professor Nick Harding, Hannah Miller, and the Team from Kent LMC – with more to be confirmed!

We have a limited number of fully-funded places to offer on the programme. To ensure maximum benefit from the programme, participants will need to commit to attending at least 4 out of the 5 sessions.
