Welcome to Next Generation GP Scotland
We are excited and proud to announce Next Generation GP is coming to Ayrshire and Arran!
The application window will open on Monday 14 th March and will close on Friday 1 st April 2022.
This nationally expanded and fully funded programme is to inspire emerging future leaders in General Practice. We have a fantastic line up of speakers who are foremost leaders in healthcare as shown below.
The programme consists of 5 evening events from April to June 2022 and will beheld virtually.
Next Generation GP has adapted with the pandemic to virtual meetings. Each evening will include a leadership themed workshop, or interview, with an inspiring national leader. There will be opportunities to meet like-minded local GPs and trainees to form different professional networks. There will also be the chance for
participants to engage and ask their own questions to the guests.
Next Generation GP is for early-career GPs, including GP trainees, with an interest in leadership, health policy and the wider NHS. Applications will be accepted from GPs in their first 10 years post-CCT and all GP trainees.
Please note that as the programme is fully funded, applicants must be able to commit to attending 4 of 5 events.
